Peter Stone makes quietly ferocious alt folk music to fill the cavernous spaces within a romantic wanderer's soul. Whether forlorn and yearning, or emphatically at peace, Peter’s songs make room to process, release and revel in the human and the real.

In addition to releasing music as a solo artist, Peter is also the co-founder and former guitarist of The Rare Occasions. Through the group’s releases, Peter’s playing and writing have been streamed over 1 billion times.

On the heels of a series of EPs and an LP, Peter is now sharing songs from their second full-length record Hearth. It keeps their alt-folk roots while reaching into psychedelia, bedroom pop, and rock. The songs move through existentialism, romance, and alienation, braiding big-picture commentary with deeply personal transmissions. Music for late-night kitchens and quiet walks home.
